You can designate products for cross-selling in several categories: compatible products, similar products (bi-directional connection), accessories, spare parts, and frequently bought together items, where the list is automatically generated.
The most common place for cross-selling is in the shopping cart, as adding a product to the cart suggests the customer's commitment to it. For a customer with, for example, a smartphone in their cart, it is a good idea to recommend compatible phone cases, cables, or even portable chargers to increase the order value.
